Dear Bus 1 Parents,

It’s hard to believe that only yesterday we were spending our last incredible Shabbat together and celebrating the conclusion of our program at a banquet.  It feels like it was just yesterday that we disembarked from the plane feeling timid and nervous, wondering how we would experience this trip.  Three weeks later, we have arrived home feeling fulfilled, inspired and changed. We aren’t a group of individuals anymore, but rather, we are one unit, one family. Bus 1 has accomplished so much over this trip and one of those special accomplishments has been the group’s newfound sense of love and appreciation for their fellow Jew, for Israel, and for Judaism. 

On a more personal note, I couldn’t be more happy to have had this most amazing opportunity to spend these last few weeks with such an incredible group of people. I want to personally thank you, the parents, for allowing me to grow with your children, to learn from them and to be inspired by them. While our time on TJJ may come to an end, our journey doesn’t end here. We can’t wait for the reunions, the Shabbatons and the get-togethers that we will have back home. 

And so while I bid farewell to you and your children for now- this isn’t goodbye, but rather, I’ll see you later..:)
