Dear parents,
They say time flies when you are having fun, and it sure has been flying for Bus 1! Our bus has experienced the beauty and history of the North of Israel including touring the holy city of Tzfat. On Monday, our bus hiked the magnificent Mount Arbel, then cooled off with fun at Aquakef. The teens bonded over signing and dancing on the Kineret on a grand party boat. The next day we visited the De Karina chocolate factory where the teens sampled, and made their own chocolate creations. We climbed Mount Bental and learned about the history of the Yom Kippur war of 1967. The teens took part in a bunker maze challenge in Tel a Saki. Our bus conquered two water hikes that kept everyone nice and cool. Tornado boating on the Mediterranean Sea was truly a highlight for many. Our bus biked, traveled in cable cars, and viewed the beautiful grottos in Rosh Ha-nikra. On Friday our teens visited the Kotel, many for the first time. It was a meaningful and emotional morning. The Kotel Tunnel tours were informative and special for our group.
we finished the day by shopping at the Shuk and feeling the true experience of Israel on a Friday.
